My son was born via emergency c-section and weighed almost 10 lbs.  Needless to say, my body was not my own. Once I was physically recovered, I needed something to help kick start getting back into shape – because not only was I unhappy with how I looked, but I also physically couldn’t be as active as I used to (I went from running the Boston Marathon two years in a row to barely being able to push a baby stroller a mile without being winded!).  Lucky for me, I found Focused Fitness by Sue!

With two Tabata-style work-outs a week, I was seeing incredible results after only four weeks! And - every session had me super energized and excited for more…  It’s been just over a year now – and I’m happy to say that I am now UNDER my pre-pregnancy weight, and in the best shape of my life…  (I just ran my first 10K since before the baby – and it was EASY compared to even before I was pregnant… All thanks to Sue getting me into top form!)

Sue is an amazing trainer and cheerleader - she is just as committed as I am to reaching my goals! Every session with her is fun, inventive and challenging.  I can never thank her enough for what she’s given back to me!

When I employed Sue to be my personal trainer my overall health was really bad and my weight had ballooned to a dangerous  level. Sue was very honest and forthright by telling me" I could join a gym for a $100 a year".  I appreciated her telling me this, but I knew full well I needed someone who was going to push me and motivate me in order to succeed.
After losing 30 pounds in a little over 2 months I can assure you that hiring Sue was the best decision I ever made. She literally started with me from the ground up and had the patience and expertise to get me where I needed to be. You can not compare going to a gym and going to see Sue, it is like apples and oranges. Believe me the old adage is true... You get what you pay for. If you set your mind to it and are dedicated Sue will get you in the best shape of your life. As a bonus she always listens to my personal problems during my workouts with an open ear and a compassionate heart. She is witty and has a great sense of humor which makes working out very enjoyable.

Say "hi" to Mary.  When she started with me, she could hold a plank for 37 seconds.  Now, not only can she hold a regular plank for three minutes, she has started doing planks on medicine balls,  (cool, huh??!) She is doing plyometrics like a champ on a 24 inch box and has a goal to do the 30 inch plyobox very soon.
